Trail Consciousness
One of our most important goals is to enhance and preserve the unique balance of living a healthy and active lifestyle while interacting thoughtfully and competently within the environment. The national and state park trails we use are our most precious resource and we believe that for everyparticipant in local mountain races (nearly 1000 people in all) there is a necessary obligation to “Give back to the Mountain.” It is important to see our sport continue as a tradition for many generations with a positive image and respect towards others who use the mountains. If you would like to volunteer for future trail maintenance projects - please feel free to contact us.
